The Senior Technical Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections, surveys, and examinations of container equipment either before or after repair. The role involves monitoring depot performances and ensuring compliance with inspection and repair criteria agreed upon by the shipping company and local depots.

Responsibilities:

• Authorize repairs exceeding allowed depot maximum amounts on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Meet shipping company needs and commitments.
• Conduct regular depot audits worldwide to monitor depot activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Relevant experience in container inspection and understanding of IICL inspection criteria.
• Thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of intermodal equipment, including dry and reefer containers, mafi trailers, and chassis.
• Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication skills are mandatory.
• Proficient in Outlook and MS Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Highly ethical behavior.

Place of Work:

Antwerp, with availability for frequent travel.
