Our Engineering area is formed by a consolidated team that works nationally and internationally in the basic and detailed design of renewable energy projects. Its mission is to ensure that these designs meet the highest quality standards to maximize the profitability of our client's projects.

We are currently looking for Civil Engineer Technical Office Italy to join our Engineering team in Italy.

Responsibilities

The principal duties and responsibilities include to perform conceptual and detailed civil design of solar PV and Energy Storage projects, including, but not limited to, the following aspects:

• Preparation and review of engineering design plans, reports and specifications.
• Assist with efforts for project permitting as applicable.
• Verify and comment on civil designs and/or construction of solar PV and Energy Storage projects.
• Review and/or prepare geotechnical and/or hydrological studies.
• Review and/or prepare structure and foundation design.
• Continuous evaluation of process improvement for design documentation produced.
• Manage internal/external deadlines and expectations as required.
• Ensure the highest level of quality assurance and quality control of own work.
• Other tasks as directed.
  
  

What do we need?

• 3+ years experience in civil project design, structural design (basic and definitive level, detailed design is a plus) for thermal or renewable energy plant.
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of latest versions of Eurocode and Norme Tecniche Costruzioni and key national and international standards applicable to civil and structural design.
• Knowledge of geotechnical, geological, geophysical design principles and analyses
• Experience with typical design software such as AutoCAD, PVCase, Civil3D.
• Operational autonomy, team working attitude, capability to communicate with both technical and non-technical profiles and clients.
• Italian mother tongue/proficient, good English (B1 minimum). Spanish is a plus.
• Italian chartered engineer title (Ingegnere Iscritto all’Albo) with capability to sign design documents and reports is a plus.
• Experience with other civil design software such as Bentley MicroStation, STAAD Pro, Revit, ETABS is a plus.
• Knowledge of key design principles for utility-scale PV and/or Battery Energy Storage projects, including their grid connection works is a plus.
