Highlights:

Key Responsibilities

1. Interpretation of business rules and functional and non-functional requirements to define technical specifications based on an architectural design provided in terms of interaction among systems, data exchange, transformations following a specific design methodology.
2. Participates and cooperates in shaping activities, participates in feasibility analyses for new or upgraded initiatives (Epic and User Story), assessing impacts for IT and supporting developers during development.
3. Performs detailed, functional, and technical analysis/design.
4. Provides test support and problem determination.
5. Collaborates in defining new suppliers and contractual requirements.
6. Breaks down requirements and technical solutions into appropriate sections (User Story), examining costs, benefits, and risks of various options before selecting an approach; explains and justifies decisions logically and systematically.

Key Capabilities/Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development projects, preferably in Agile methodology.
• Experience in designing backend solutions and developing applications with Java on/with J2EE platform, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Excellent knowledge of the existing IT architecture (for the relevant domain) and technical flows.

• Analytic skills for creating end-to-end solutions.
• A team player mindset, with a 'make it happen' mentality, eager to learn and able to coach others.

• Microservices architecture and domain design model.
• Advanced experience in developing REST & SOAP application services.
• Technology landscape (application level) of the relevant domain.
• DBMS and SQL (e.g., Oracle, PL/SQL).
• UML standards.
• Agile paradigm.
• Scrum.
• Retail banking business.

12 months - full remote - freelance only - no employment contract - daily rate between 250 and 280 euros - English contract - VAT exempt.
