Hitachi Rail is seeking an Eco Design Engineer for the Rolling Stock Engineering Department in Pistoia, Italy. You will lead ecodesign activities, develop Life Cycle Assessments, and support sustainability strategy across the product lifecycle.

Requirements include a Master’s in Environmental/Engineering and 3–5 years in LCA, with strong analytical and communication skills to engage multidisciplinary teams.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Environmental/Engineering.
• Experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) practices.
• Familiar with ISO 14040/14044 standards.

Mansioni

• Act as ecodesign focal point for rolling stock projects.
• Develop LCA, PCF, and EPD studies per ISO standards.
• Integrate ecodesign principles across product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Procurement/Engineering on sustainable supplier choices.
• Provide technical support on ecodesign and chemical compliance.
