The Candidate:

We seek a commercially driven operator skilled in building relationships and closing deals. You should be analytical, pragmatic, and proactive in using performance data to influence outcomes. Your role involves negotiating with suppliers, resolving system issues, and ensuring product success across marketplaces.

Desired Experience

  • 3+ years managing supplier relationships in tourism, hospitality, or marketplaces
  • 2+ years working with channel managers (e.g., Bokun, FareHarbor, TourCMS)
  • 3+ years negotiating commercial terms such as pricing and inventory
  • 2+ years experience with OTAs or e-commerce marketplaces in pricing or operations

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Experience with channel managers (Bokun, FareHarbor, TourCMS)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (CTR, ATC, CVR)
  • Familiarity with Asana and A/B testing tools (Google Optimize, VWO)

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Supplier Management & Strategy

  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms
  • Communicate pricing strategies effectively
  • Identify exclusive or high-performing experiences based on data

Marketplace Optimization

  • Monitor performance metrics to guide strategy
  • Adjust pricing and presentation to improve conversions
  • Recommend improvements or discontinuations for underperforming SKUs
  • Benchmark against competitors to stay competitive

Systems & Channel Coordination

  • Resolve system mismatches and ensure compatibility
  • Lead channel manager integrations and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless operations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with marketing, content, and product teams on launches
  • Ensure accurate tagging and categorization of SKUs
  • Attend meetings to report on performance and blockers
  • Coordinate with customer experience and guide operations teams
