The Digital Engineer is an expert in designing, implementing, and testing digital solutions, services, and front-ends. She/he is oriented towards full-stack engineering and development, including cloud-native application design and development.

The digital engineer should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and coding enterprise applications using multi-device, multi-platform development based on Microservices architectures.

The candidate must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and should be familiar with Agile SCRUM methodology.

Activities/Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and unit test digital solutions and end-to-end applications using modern technologies in public/hybrid cloud environments.
• Contribute to technical project documentation (Requirements Documents, Operations Concept Document, Operations Engineering Plan, User and Administration Manual, etc.).
• Assist in project reviews as required.
• Have in-depth knowledge of programming languages: Java, Python.
• Understand security coding standards (OWASP, CWE/SANS).
• Possess knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and CaaS concepts.
• Be familiar with Container Orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.).
• Have knowledge of Linux and Linux scripting.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (3 or 5 years).
• Possess high-level written and verbal English communication skills.
• Adhere to quality standards and provisions.

Further Skills:

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of non-relational databases and analytics (MongoDB, Elastic).
• Experience in multiple technology stacks application development.
• Experience writing applications for automation in Cloud environments.
• Experience with at least one Commercial Public Cloud (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.).
