Role Overview

We are seeking an organized self-starter with deep knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in the crypto-asset industry within the EMEA region. You will translate regulatory frameworks into strategic recommendations, manage stakeholder relationships, and support licensing initiatives worldwide. Reporting to the regional Lead, you will work closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure compliance and facilitate licensing processes.

Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies for market entry and operation within the region.
2. Regulatory Advocacy: Engage with authorities, industry bodies, and policymakers to shape favorable regulatory environments.
3. Policy Analysis: Analyze local proposals, advise on risks and opportunities, and monitor regulatory changes.
4. Licensing Support: Assist in obtaining necessary licenses in target markets.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure regulatory alignment and address challenges.
6. Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial services or crypto-asset regulation.
7. Knowledge: Strong understanding of key regulatory frameworks in EMEA and ability to resolve complex issues.
8. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, experienced in public speaking and regulatory discussions.
9. Teamwork: Collaborative, stakeholder-focused, and fully engaged.
10. Language: Proficiency in English.
11. Education: University degree required.
