A leading organization in surgical ophthalmology is seeking a Patient Journey Manager in Salerno. This role involves guiding patients through their treatment pathway, ensuring coordination between clinical partners and rehabilitation teams. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a related field and several years of experience in ophthalmology and low vision rehabilitation.

Competenze

  • 3–5 years of experience in medical devices/pharmaceuticals, preferably in ophthalmology.
  • 3–5 years of experience in low vision rehabilitation.
  • Fluency in local language and proficiency in English.

Job Description:

The Patient Journey Manager will serve as a vital link between clinical partners, rehabilitation teams, and patients, ensuring seamless coordination across the entire treatment pathway. From initial patient selection through surgery and post-operative rehabilitation, you will guide all stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  1. Build strong relationships with implanting centers and rehabilitation teams.
  2. Provide hands-on training to clinical personnel, including visual rehab and low vision professionals.
  3. Support and oversee the complete patient journey, including selection, surgery follow-up, and long-term rehab.
  4. Collaborate with commercial and medical teams to activate new treatment centers.
  5. Engage with patient groups, doctors, and referral networks to raise awareness and improve access to care.
  6. Facilitate communication between surgical and rehab teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  7. Coordinate patient testimonials for awareness campaigns.
  8. Act as a key contact for patient support challenges and incident reporting.
Qualifications:
  1. Degree or qualification in Orthoptics, Optics, or a low vision-related field.
  2. 3–5 years of experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals, preferably within ophthalmology.
  3. 3–5 years of experience in low vision rehabilitation.
