Our international team is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our client's team as a Senior Account Executive focused on the Italian market. In this pivotal role, you will build, manage, and expand long-term partnerships with key clients across diverse industries, driving growth for both our clients and our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new client opportunities that align with the company’s overarching strategic goals.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to attract new clients within the education sector.
- Deliver persuasive product presentations and demonstrations to key stakeholders such as academic staff, administrative leadership, and procurement professionals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers at targeted educational institutions.
- Lead the sales process from initial engagement through to closing deals, working with partners when necessary to achieve or exceed revenue goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, monitor competitor activity, and identify sector-specific funding opportunities.
- Manage a portfolio of high-value clients, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering excellent customer service and ongoing support.
- Recognize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance account value.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to meet business objectives and revenue targets.
- Monitor client satisfaction and resolve concerns swiftly to maintain strong relationships.
- Conduct regular business reviews to demonstrate value, gather feedback, and identify growth opportunities.
- Keep accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline updates, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for management.
- Participate in internal sales meetings, training, and professional development activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Native or fluent proficiency in Italian (C1) and English, with strong communication skills in both.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within education or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.
- Deep knowledge of the education market, including key stakeholders and challenges.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
