Job Description:

Overview: We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer to join a leading automation equipment manufacturer specializing in highly complex industry-leading machinery. This role involves hands-on automation engineering, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Work partly on customer sites (Italy) and remotely to provide automation support
• Perform corrective maintenance and disaster recovery on Rockwell ControlLogix and SCADA systems
• Configure systems, implement upgrades, and troubleshoot electrical and automation failures
• Complete service reports and communicate effectively internally and externally

Candidate Profile:

Minimum 2 years' experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.), fluent in English and Italian, willing to travel and stay overnight as needed. A degree is beneficial but not essential. Must have a valid driving license and the right to work in Italy. Experience in cleanroom or sterile environments is a plus.
