Competenze

• 4+ years in design of new parts made from plastics.
• Solid modeling experience in 3D CAD, Creo is an advantage.

Support of Engineers in the development process of new products with innovative design for new items or improvement on existing items. Ensure high data quality within the R&D department.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Support Development
• Create designs from the conceptual phase through prototype, qualification, and into production
• Work with a project manager to develop timelines, ensure projects stay within budget and match the scope of the projects to accelerate validated solutions to the market
• Set up of all relevant documentation that is required for production.
• Support development of test plans to evaluate the performance of designed items
• Interact with selling unit for customer specific requests
• Assist with test equipment design
• Travel (10-15% max) is required periodically to learn about the specific industries and operations for which our products will be designed

Education and experience

• Education as Draftsman or Technician
• 4+ years in design of new parts made from plastics.
• Solid modeling experience in 3D CAD – Creo is an advantage
• Good knowledge of SAP and PDM
• Knowledge with conveyor solutions especially food or material handling is a benefit

• Willingness to learn
• Able to travel (up to 10%), work overtime when required.
