To support our growing business, activities, and needs, we are recruiting a talented Network Engineer to join our team located in Turin, Italy. The Network Engineer will actively contribute to maintaining, securing, and monitoring the existing network architecture, as well as designing and implementing future networks.

Responsibilities include:

1. Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing, and designing communication networks within and between organizations.
2. Ensuring the integrity and high availability of our network infrastructure.
3. Establishing networking environments by defining, implementing, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
4. Securing network systems by establishing policies and monitoring access.
5. Supporting and administering firewall environments in line with IT security policies.
6. Supporting on-site engineers.
7. Troubleshooting and fault finding.
8. Fulfilling ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
9. Contributing to project best practices and quality processes.
10. Liaising with external providers when network management is outsourced.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Fundamental understanding and hands-on experience with network technologies (firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs, wireless standards).
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls or similar products.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers or similar products.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, OSPF, VPN, BGP, SD-WAN).
• Supporting and administering LANs, VLANs, WLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, DHCP servers.
• Experience with Load balancers, proxies, firewalls, routers, switches.
• Incident management and troubleshooting skills using root cause analysis.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong customer service skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in a NOC environment.
• Experience with ticketing and monitoring tools.
• WiFi network troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of DNS zones and Global Servers Load Balancing.
• Cloud experience (Azure).
• Networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
