The role involves supporting the Chief Operating & Business Management Officer in managing risks and ensuring operational compliance, ensuring the business adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities include implementing and monitoring Group and PIB Italia risk and compliance policies, ensuring their effectiveness. This also involves overseeing key systems and controls, providing reports and management information (MI) to confirm their proper functioning.
The role ensures compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, manages regulatory due diligence on potential acquisition targets, and oversees the risk and compliance workstream during integrations. Acting as a constructive advisor, it includes conducting targeted reviews on risk and regulatory topics for the Italian business.
On the legal side, the role manages contracts with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders, ensuring their accuracy and alignment with regulations. Lastly, it provides legal and compliance support during due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.
