General information

Duration: 6 months

Description

The candidate will contribute to and develop business strategy, marketing plans, pre-commercialisation plans, as well as integrated communication and engagement campaigns to promote a product, service, or idea. This is a varied role, which involves:

  • planning

Responsibilities

The candidate will work closely with the Innovation Strategy Director and the Project Managers, with the following responsibilities:

  • create awareness of and develop the brand to be marketed
  • engage and communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships
  • assist with marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, and social media campaigns
  • support the Director in delivering activities
  • source advertising opportunities and place advertisements according to the media channel selected
  • write and proofread marketing copy for online and print campaigns
  • produce creative content, including videos and blog posts
  • manage social media channels (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) to enhance engagement
  • organise events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
  • source and secure sponsorship
  • liaise with designers and printers and organise photo shoots
  • coordinate the distribution of marketing materials
  • maintain and update customer databases
  • conduct market research using customer questionnaires and focus groups
  • develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
What you will learn
  • develop and implement marketing strategies as part of wider sales and marketing programmes
  • evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising, and SEO to ensure effectiveness
  • monitor marketing performance and ROI, and prepare reports for management
  • monitor and report on competitor activity
  • manage external agencies for events, press relations, editorial requests, presentations, and online activities
  • oversee and manage the marketing budget
