Role Overview

As a Senior Product Owner, you will lead the evolution of our UX and Product Platform capabilities. You will own platform domains that enhance the internal developer experience and ensure design consistency across our product landscape. Your responsibilities include abstracting patterns, generalizing business logic, scaling design systems, and enabling faster product delivery. You will be pivotal in transforming how product teams build at Jimdo—reducing friction, increasing speed, and aligning platform services with business needs. This is a strategic leadership role to define and shape the future of Jimdo’s product development.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong platform mindset, technical depth, and a focus on developer productivity, operational efficiency, and usability at scale.

Your Impact

• Own and develop platform roadmaps for UX and Product Platform teams, aligning capabilities with product needs.
• Define and monitor adoption metrics for standardized UI components, API layers, and business logic abstractions.
• Engage in technical discussions—from frontend architecture to APIs and service reliability—to inform data-driven decisions.
• Enhance cross-team efficiency by providing well-documented, reusable, low-friction building blocks.
• Collaborate with engineering to meet SLAs for platform APIs and services.
• Manage rollout of platform updates, tracking adoption and feedback.
• Work with Design, Engineering, and Developer Enablement teams to support seamless implementation of platform components.
• Promote cost efficiency and developer enablement by reducing duplicated efforts and overhead.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in platforms, frameworks, or internal tooling.
• Understanding of platform abstraction principles and capability reuse.
• Comfort with technical topics such as APIs, SDKs, SLAs, and developer workflows.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and user flows.
• Strong analytical skills to define meaningful metrics (DevEx, adoption, SLA, efficiency) and use data to prioritize.
• Familiarity with developer experience best practices and a passion for improving builder productivity.
• Experience with design systems in SaaS or frontend-heavy environments is a plus.
• Strategic thinker capable of zooming in on details and seeing the bigger picture.
• Empathy for builders—engineers, designers, and product teams.
