Job Description

The Operational Excellence Coach leads Lean and cultural transformations in the Food & Beverage, CPG, and General Manufacturing sectors by implementing QAD Redzone software and coaching. Working within autonomous teams led by a Coach Director, they have hands-on experience with continuous improvement in manufacturing settings. They collaborate directly with shop floor staff, frontline leaders, CI directors, and executives to foster growth and productivity.

This is a full-time, remote role requiring travel up to 42 weeks annually, primarily Monday through Thursday. Coaches must be based in the UK or able to obtain a UK visa, with frequent travel to the UK. Bilingual fluency in English and Italian is required.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and coach 5-7 customers simultaneously.
  2. Train customers on workflows within Redzone software during multiple 90-day on-site deployments.
  3. Facilitate shop-floor Huddles and leadership meetings to support action cycles.
  4. Monitor performance data and customer improvements throughout deployments.
  5. Lead process improvement and kaizen activities.
  6. Share feedback to promote positive behaviors and results.
  7. Conduct remote weekly progress meetings.
  8. Identify success stories and celebrate wins.
  9. Manage project schedules and provide success assessments upon completion.
  10. Deliver executive overviews and troubleshoot technical issues.
  11. Support customer planning for future Redzone initiatives.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Senior operations leadership experience in manufacturing.
  • Hands-on roles like Operations Manager, Production Supervisor, or Continuous Improvement Manager.
  • Experience with OEE and process improvement.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; technical communication skills regarding networking and software.
  • PLC experience is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience; 2+ years in coaching roles preferred.
