Role

Are you a talented early-career engineer eager to make an impact in next-generation electronic systems? The Chips-IT Foundation is looking for a Junior Researcher to join its dynamic team working at the frontier of analog and mixed signal IC design for advanced communication, data conversion, and sensor interfacing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in R&D of analog and mixed signal integrated circuits for advanced communication, data conversion, and sensor interfacing systems.
  • Support the design and simulation of analog and mixed signal building blocks (e.g., amplifiers, ADCs, DACs).
  • Collaborate with senior researchers and engineers to develop and validate new concepts.
  • Perform measurements using standard lab instrumentation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in analog and mixed signal IC design.
  • Contribute to publications, patents, and conference presentations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Some experience in IC design, preferably in analog and mixed signal applications.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools (e.g. Cadence Virtuoso Suite)
  • Basic understanding of analog measurements and lab instrumentation.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Curiosity, determination, and creative problem-solving skills.
