The role
We are on the lookout for a B2G Project & Bid Manager to join our Corporate Transformation team.
In this role, your mission will be to manage the full lifecycle of public tenders and funded projects - from opportunity detection and bid submission to compliance, reporting, and administrative coordination - contributing to the development of our activities in the public sector through high-quality, well-structured processes.
Responsibilities
* Analyze and interpret national and European public calls for tenders, identifying requirements and assessing fit
* Manage and execute all related administrative and procedural tasks required for application and compliance
* Support our B2B Business Unit in preparing and submitting public tender bids, ensuring alignment and coordination
* Draft and coordinate the technical and administrative documentation required for bid submissions, with a focus on CONSIP and regional procurement portals
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and ensure alignment with project requirements
* Manage project timelines through GANTT planning and ensure timely completion of all bidding activities
* Oversee the preparation of technical and financial reports in compliance with guidelines set by funding institutions (e.g. MISE, Regions, EU)
* Ensure full compliance with tender rules, with particular attention to the Public Procurement Code (Codice degli Appalti)
* Supervise all administrative workflows linked to funded projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation
* Monitor and track project budgets, ensuring cost eligibility and alignment with tender requirements
* Manage financial reporting and expenditure documentation, supporting both internal controls and external audits
* Use platforms such as SIMOG, MEPA, and regional e-procurement portals for tender management and submission
About you
Ideally, you are a methodical and autonomous professional with at least 5 years of experience in bidding processes and managing publicly funded projects.
On top of this, you are:
* Knowledgeable about Italian procurement laws, public funding mechanisms, and EU/national calls
* Solid understanding of the Italian Public Procurement Code (Codice degli Appalti) and its practical application in public tenders
* Skilled in both technical writing and administrative documentation for tenders
* Comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing deadlines with precision
* Proficient in Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets, for documentation and reporting
* Fluent in Italian (native level) and English (spoken and written)
* Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling complex processes with autonomy
* Preferably based in Rome, with availability to travel when required
Nice to have
* Experience with platforms such as SIMOG, MEPA, and regional e-procurement portals
* Previous involvement in Horizon Europe or PNRR-funded projects
* Certified project management skills (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)

Final step. The last stage in the process is a call with our CEO.
