ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to hire a Junior Structural Engineer to join the team supervising and assisting with railway infrastructure projects across Europe.

ABOUT YOU

Feel free to apply if you have:

• Educational background: Civil Engineer, Public Works Technical Engineer (ITOP), Civil Engineer or similar degree with specialization in structures.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in design, construction, or supervision of structures on site, preferably in railway infrastructure projects. Experience with high-speed railway infrastructure is a plus.
• Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of structural construction procedures, on-site resolution of structural conflicts, structural design and analysis, compliance with Eurocodes, coordination, and planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the supervision and technical assistance team to ensure the structures are built according to design during construction.
• Collaborate with the structural design team to resolve construction issues requiring their input.
• Review shop drawings and technical specifications of materials provided by the contractor.
• Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and authorities.
• Provide regular progress reports and notify of any deviations from plans.
