The role :

For our General Ledger & Local Tax Compliance Team, in the Corporate Finance and Administration Function, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented resource to join our team.

The ideal candidate will carry out activities related to General Accounting with a particular focus on preparing and verifying the accuracy of accounting data , ensuring compliance with local tax obligations . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in general accounting and an eagerness to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Main Responsibilities :

• Analysis and interpretation of accounting data to ensure compliance with legal standards in civil, fiscal, and tax matters
• Implementation of periodic accounting and tax records
• End-of-period procedures
• Reconciliation of accounting entries and anomaly handling
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Supporting the preparation of the end-of-year balance sheet according to the International Accounting Standards
• Responding to queries from various stakeholders

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field;
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in general accounting;
• Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn how to use software packages;
• Good proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel;
• Previous experience with SAP will be considered as a plus;
• Experience with management control systems and accounting processes is highly desirable;
• Strong analytical skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively with others;
• Proactive attitude and a keen attention to detail.
