Corporate Relationship Manager

The Role

We are looking for Corporate Relationship Managers (known internally as Dealers) across all of our offices to meet the continuing increase in client activity. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for the trading account setup, ongoing relationship management, and FX deal execution.

Our Dealers offer expert and bespoke suggestions and ideas to our clients, providing them with strategies to minimise their FX risk challenges. They plan, structure, and execute deals, giving our clients the best value while contributing to Ebury’s growth.

Our best Dealers progress to head up and train dealing teams, ensuring the next generation of Dealers are inspired, motivated, and proficient in their roles.

As a Dealer you will:
  • Service a portfolio of corporate clients across products including FX hedging, lending, and cash management.
  • Execute FX trades (SPOT, FWD, NDF, etc.) with multiple liquidity providers, using various trading platforms, as well as Bloomberg/Reuters.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to assist in business origination. Understand client environments, strategies, and industries to provide optimal solutions.
  • Understand the competition’s capabilities and gaps to better position Ebury’s banking solutions.
  • Deliver on dealer-specific KPIs, including revenue from repeat and new business, reducing client churn, upselling high-margin products, and increasing wallet share.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through meetings.
  • Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product teams.
  • Originate new business via networking and referrals from existing clients.
About You:
  • Strong financial services sales experience (sales/relationship management). A network of contacts is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a commercial bank dealing with SMEs and corporate clients, or relevant experience in FX, cash management, etc., outside of banking.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements.
  • Business/finance academic background is a plus.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to gain commitment and buy-in.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies based on customer feedback and market conditions; effectively present features and benefits aligned with customer needs.
  • Skilled negotiator, capable of building relationships at senior levels.
  • Quick learner, especially of systems; strong analytical skills.
  • Professional proficiency in English and fluency in Italian are required.
