A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives in line with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team performs an integral role in bringing together all function areas to ensure commercial targets are heightened. The executive role involves managing individual projects relating to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing day-to-day administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the results of the marketing plan and activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets, and address hotel business needs. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Coordinate and assist with delivering all agreed marketing and PR strategies and monitor ongoing campaigns performance and reporting as directed by the Line Manager
- Support the Line Manager by developing and implementing promotional activities, collateral, and in-house merchandising, maintaining the hotel's media library, including videos, press coverage archives
- Promote the hotel's marketing activities to the media, covering food and beverage, rooms, and event promotions
- Support internal communication activities, including regional updates, press releases, newsletters, speeches, and interviews with senior management
- Promote and support marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, exhibitions, and property inspections
- Assist with media relations, social media tracking, press kit updates, news archives, media databases, interviews, and administrative duties
- Organize media familiarization trips and entertain local media
- Lead on-site photoshoots and filming, ensuring administrative approvals
- Monitor social media activity and support departmental initiatives
- Ensure all collateral conforms to brand standards and guidelines
- Support loyalty marketing activities and campaigns
- Implement marketing content and optimize online presence
- Respond to customer postings and handle complaints appropriately
Managing Execution
- Support content management across channels, develop reports, and maintain databases
- Monitor local news affecting hotel business and inform management
- Develop reports on marketing initiatives and review third-party website content
- Conduct competitive analysis and ensure marketing archives are up to date
- Support crisis communication and achieve performance goals
Developing Talent
- The role focuses more on self-development rather than team development
Building Relationships
- Establish effective communication with hotel disciplines and external partners
- Maintain relationships with media, community, government, and suppliers

- Excellent communication skills in English and native language (if applicable)
