Grenergy is an independent power producer (IPP) that specializes in the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of large-scale renewable energy plants. The company also has dedicated teams for PPA origination, structured finance, and M&A, which enhances efficiency through integrated processes.

As of the end of 2019, Grenergy transitioned to the Continuous Market (Madrid Stock Exchange), supporting its growth and international expansion. Currently, it operates in 12 countries: Spain (HQ), Chile, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Romania, and the United States.

Grenergy has nearly 1GW of projects in operation and under construction, with a pipeline of 15GW of solar and wind projects at various development stages. Additionally, in 2021, the company invested in developing nearly 5GWh of storage projects.

Due to this growth, Grenergy is seeking a Project Developer to join our Development team in Rome. The role involves managing the entire lifecycle of international photovoltaic (PV) solar energy projects and BESS.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Develop utility-scale PV and storage projects as part of the development team.
2. Negotiate land lease agreements and easements with landowners.
3. Identify project opportunities based on the company's internal manual, including land verification and environmental and spatial planning conditions.
4. Manage external service providers involved in project development.
5. Oversee permitting processes under the supervision of the Country Manager, including liaising with local authorities.
6. Conduct internal due diligence on third-party projects.
7. Gather information and prepare reports related to project development, including input to budgets and schedules.

Requirements:

• Certification as Categorie protette: L.68 / 99.
• Engineering degree (preferably environmental, civil, or energy).
• Experience with similar responsibilities in renewable projects and permitting.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Italian skills; Spanish is a plus.
• Collaborative, proactive, and engaging team player who works well with others.
