Job Description:
LHH is looking for an Accounting & Tax Manager for a global company.
Responsibilities
- Leading the accounting team, driving engagement, and actively promoting innovation, digitalization, and process improvements.
- Coordinating and supervising all accounting, tax, and related activities (e.g., general ledger, payables, receivables, treasury, monthly closing and reporting, tax compliance), ensuring correctness, quality, timeliness, and compliance with regulations and accounting principles.
- Monitoring and reconciling all P&L, B/S, and transitory accounts regularly.
- Managing Treasury and Banking functions in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Overseeing tax calculations, declarations, and payments in coordination with external advisors.
- Managing Transfer Pricing policies in coordination with Group Tax and external advisors.
- Preparing statutory financial statements with external advisors.
- Managing corporate and accounting books, such as journal vouchers and VAT.
- Maintaining relationships with external auditors, advisors, and stakeholders.
- Serving as a key leader and main contact within the finance department for accounting and tax matters.
- Being a key user and contributor to the implementation of the new ERP system.
Your Profile
- University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- At least 8-10 years of advanced experience in Accounting and Tax, preferably within multinational groups.
- Experience in Audit and/or as a Team Leader is highly valued.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- High integrity, reliability, autonomy, accuracy, and structured approach.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Tax matters.
- Proven resource management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proactive with problem-solving skills.
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Good business understanding, customer focus, and responsiveness.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, building strong relationships.
- Proficiency in MS Office; IDMS knowledge is a plus.
Estimated package: RAL €70,000 - €75,000 + PDR
