Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and APIs. This role offers full remote work with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop scalable, high-performance components using Java (Java 8+) and Spring.
2. Work with NoSQL databases, primarily MongoDB, for data storage solutions.
3. Implement and manage messaging systems using Apache Kafka within distributed systems.
4. Integrate and maintain REST APIs, ensuring low latency and reliable communication.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Requirements

1. At least 5 years of experience in developing scalable, high-performance Java applications and APIs.
2. 3+ years working with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
3. Proficiency with Apache Kafka and distributed system communication.
4. Experience with REST API integration.
5. Understanding of low-latency distributed systems.
6. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

1. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
2. Familiarity with reactive programming.
3. Experience with Python.
4. Previous involvement in betting, gaming, or sports analytics sectors.
