We are looking for a Test Engineer to be hired with a permanent contract in Rome, Italy, within the Center of Competence-Optimization area.

As a Test Engineer, your mission will be to contribute to improving the quality of the software products and solutions developed by the Center of Competence.

Your main activities will include :

• Supporting strategic decisions on testing topics of the software products and solutions
• Supporting the Product Owner and Product Lifecycle Manager in requirements definition
• Designing and developing test procedures, methods, and models
• Executing and trail testing procedures using automated software testing techniques

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have :

• Confirmed experience in testing Java / C++ / Python applications
• Familiarity with automatic testing frameworks (Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
• Experience with version control systems
• Programming experience in at least one of the following languages: C++, Java, Python
• Familiarity with Linux OS
• Knowledge of testing tools like Apache JMeter, SoapUI; Postman is a plus
• ISTQB Certification is a plus
• A passion for continuous growth
• Respect and appreciation for each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge
• Proficiency in English and Italian
• Knowledge of German is a plus
• Eligibility to work in Italy
