Mission

The Auditor participates in audit assignments related to the activities of the department they report to. Under the authority and guidance of the assignment leader, they may be involved in all phases of the audit, from preparation to report writing.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. The audit assignment includes:
2. Checking the proper application of procedures, instructions, and legal and regulatory requirements concerning counterparty risk management, credit commitment security, processing and IT system quality, control mechanisms, and financial information accuracy.
3. Applying data analytics to identify risks more effectively.
4. Detecting anomalies and identifying root causes.
5. Defining improvement areas, issuing recommendations, and following up on their implementation.
6. Finalizing audit documentation according to internal methodology.
7. Monitoring the status of recommendations proactively to prevent overdue issues.
8. Providing monthly feedback on overdue recommendations, focusing on evidence reliability for closure.

Profile Required

Studies & Experience

• Master’s degree in Economics or Finance from a Business School or University
• 2-3 years of audit experience
• Banking background

Language Skills

• Fluency in Italian (C1-C2)
• Fluency in English (C1-C2)
• Additional languages are a plus
