Job Description: A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives in line with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team performs an integral role in bringing together all function areas to ensure commercial targets are heightened. The executive role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing day-to-day administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the results of the marketing plan and activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to all relevant target markets, and address hotel business needs. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Coordinate and assist with delivering all agreed marketing and PR strategies and monitor ongoing campaigns' performance and reporting as directed by the Line Manager
- Support the Line Manager by developing and implementing promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and maintaining the hotel's media library
- Promote the hotel's marketing activities to the media covering food and beverage, rooms, and event promotions
- Support internal communication activities, including regional updates, press releases, newsletters, and drafting speeches for executives
- Promote and support all marketing and PR activities including events, sponsorships, campaigns, and property inspections
- Assist with media relations, social media tracking, press kit updates, news archive, media database management, and interview coordination
- Organize media familiarization trips and entertain local media where appropriate
- Assist with on-site photoshoots and hotel filming, ensuring administrative approvals
- Monitor and support social media activity and departmental initiatives
- Ensure brand standards are maintained across collateral and online content
- Support loyalty marketing activities and execute marketing content effectively
- Respond to customer postings, addressing complaints and issues
Managing Execution
- Support content management across channels including websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships
- Develop reports on activities and results
- Maintain and grow hotel databases for marketing campaigns
- Stay informed about local news affecting the hotel and inform management
- Assist in developing reports and reviewing third-party website content
- Conduct competitive analysis and ensure marketing and PR archives are up-to-date
- Support crisis communication efforts and achieve performance goals
Developing Talent

- Maintain relationships with media, community, government, and suppliers
