Position Title : Senior Business Development Manager

Position Summary :

The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for specifying, planning, and growing new products and solutions in the Energy Storage segment. This role is key in formulating innovative product solutions and establishing productive, sustainable relationships with external and internal partners (suppliers and customers) to ensure successful business expansion.

Responsibilities :

  • Understand customer needs, market trends, and input from leadership to align product strategy and roadmap in the Energy Storage market.
  • Identify opportunities, prepare proposals for RFPs, handle budgeting and pricing, negotiate contract terms, and conduct post-bid analysis.
  • Develop and engage early adopters in testing and launching new Energy Storage products and solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop business plans for product or service improvements, customization, and new developments.
  • Assess operational issues related to competitiveness and stay updated on trends, innovations, and pricing.
  • Coordinate with internal development teams or external suppliers to ensure product and schedule alignment.
  • Participate in product design reviews to assess quality.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams during product launches.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Energy Storage, Wind, and Solar industries.
  • Proven business development track record.
  • Decision-making skills regarding product guidelines and purposes.
  • Understanding of financial reports, budgets, and product expenditures.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with sales experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in teams.
