St. Louise School – Caviglia Campus (Milan) is seeking an Early Years Teacher on a maternity cover starting January 2027, for play‑based education of children aged 2–5 and to support holistic development.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised early years qualification, has experience with 2–5s, and is familiar with EYFS or Reggio Emilia. IB PYP experience is preferred but other curricula are considered.

Formación

• Recognised early years teaching qualification.
• Experience with children aged 2-5 in an early years or nursery setting.
• Knowledge of child development and EYFS/Reggio Emilia or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with children, parents and colleagues.
• Strong classroom management and planning abilities.
• Passionate, child-centred approach that inspires curiosity and creativity.
• Reflective and adaptable mindset with commitment to continuous improvement.
• Valid EU passport and work permit.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high‑quality, play‑based education for children aged 2‑5.
• Plan and implement learning experiences supporting cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe, assess and track children’s progress and use evidence to inform planning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children’s development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent early years provision.
• Support early language, communication, numeracy and social development through activities.
• Participate in school events, trips and extracurricular activities.
• Apply safeguarding, behaviour and pastoral care policies.
• Reflect on practice and engage in continuous professional development.
