About the role:
We are seeking a Finance Manager for our National Sales Company based in Milan, Italy.
You will be responsible for organizing and executing the company's daily finance procedures, maintaining transaction records, preparing weekly invoice submissions, and processing reimbursements. This role offers an opportunity to expand your finance expertise within a rapidly growing company.
The Finance Manager reports directly to the Finance Manager at HQ in China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of financial procedures related to invoicing, accounting, and tax.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Monitor daily transactions and perform bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile accounts with customers, clear balances promptly, and send regular reminders.
- Review and process reimbursements.
- Issue sales invoices, credit notes, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Maintain records of invoices and tax payments.
- Identify and resolve account discrepancies.
- Handle employee travel expenses and explain reimbursement routines.
- Match invoices with statements and purchase orders.
- Accurately input accounting data into the system.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence.
- Collect and analyze data for financial spreadsheets.
- Review financial statements and reports for accuracy.
- Provide support and answer queries from stakeholders, customers, and clients.
- Suggest process improvements for increased accuracy and efficiency.
- Participate in reviewing finance policies and procedures aligned with HQ standards.
- Support audit processes when required.
Required skills, qualifications, and experience:
- Education in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields (MBO or HBO level).
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of corporate finance functions and procedures.
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Italian.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong data analysis skills.
