Job Description

Our client, a company operating in the distribution and trade of consumer goods, is seeking to hire a Trade Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in this role and will be responsible for:

  • Development and implementation of promotional activities: Planning promotional campaigns (discounts, bundles, seasonal offers) in collaboration with sales and marketing; coordinating in-store or online activities for product launches or promotions.
  • Management of POP materials: Designing, producing, and distributing communication materials for retail points of sale (displays, leaflets, totems, window decals, signage); ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Performance analysis by channel/distributor: Monitoring sales across channels (retail, wholesalers, online); analyzing product rotations, shelf share, stock-outs, and promotional KPIs; identifying improvement areas and proposing corrective actions.
  • Development of growth strategies: Customer segmentation by channel, zone, and potential; supporting commercial development plans for each channel (schools, stationery stores, e-commerce, GDO, etc.).
  • Coordination with the sales team: Providing tools and materials for agents and distributors; organizing and participating in commercial meetings, trade fairs, and promotional days.
  • Support for new product launches: Collaborating with marketing on product positioning; supporting sales with launch kits, training, and sales arguments.
  • Trade budget management.
