Job Description:

OneVision Agency is our core IT department with the goal to provide MSC entities with cost-efficient solutions, to improve revenues, and to enhance Customer Service and Quality. Within the OneVision Agency team and under its governance and methodology guidelines, the Project Management Officer (PMO) will work closely with Turin and Geneva program staff and offshore/nearshore teams to ensure governance processes are followed. Reporting to the Lead Project Management Officer in Turin, the PMO will contribute to the success of this transition and handle the administration of PMO processes and tools used by staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and contribute to project management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Azure DevOps, PowerBI, Excel).
  2. Maintain a central repository of templates and documentation (SharePoint).
  3. Maintain guides, templates, and project dashboards to assist Development Managers in following PMO procedures.
  4. Coordinate documentation flow and involved departments to define clear schedules for functional and non-functional processes.
  5. Support the design, implementation, and operation of portfolio performance dashboards (e.g., service performance, issue/ticket analysis).
  6. Propose process improvements for continuous improvement and standardization, collaborating with stakeholders.
  7. Support program monitoring, including timelines and deliverables, and assist project managers with work and resource planning.
  8. Support the definition, maintenance, and innovation of internal processes.
  9. Set and enforce standards across the department and support project managers with performance analysis.
  10. Assist in Agile Transition within OneVision Agency.
  11. Ensure organizational adherence to new processes, procedures, and tools.
  12. Support IT Service Management, Knowledge Management, and Risk Management initiatives.
  13. Collaborate with the Global PMO team for quality control, reporting, and portfolio maintenance.
  14. Assist in governing project delivery, risk, and issues management practices.
  15. Contribute to staff training and onboarding materials.
  16. Handle transversal issues proactively and pragmatically.
  17. Maintain effective communication with program teams and stakeholders.
  18. Work autonomously within defined boundaries, anticipating management needs.
Functional & Hierarchical Reporting:

The position reports functionally and hierarchically to the Lead Project Management Officer in Turin. The role is based in Torino with occasional travel required.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 3/4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in project management and methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Change management experience.
  • Autonomy, proactive approach, solution-oriented, curious, and willing to learn.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge or interest in IT, Software Development, Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Maritime Shipping Industry (preferred).
Technical Skills:
  • MS Office & MS Products.
  • PowerBI (DAX & M).
  • Azure DevOps.
