Job Description:

I am currently supporting our client in their search for a Senior PPA & Energy Management Director to join their established and growing team based in Milan.

My client is an integrated European energy company, active in natural gas and power, focusing on wholesale, trading, sales, energy infrastructure, and industrial assets. They also have a Renewable Energy division dedicated to creating a significant, transparent, financially sound portfolio of green assets, including solar PV and onshore wind power plants.

The role's objective is to manage PPA and Energy Management activities, oversee the team, and support strategic and operational decision-making to promote the company's economic interests.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish and lead a high-performing PPA and energy management team.
2. Effectively execute energy management KPIs across technologies and regions.
3. Own and drive renewable energy offtake and risk management strategies.
4. Monitor and report on energy market developments, offtake, and hedging solutions.
5. Provide market insights and power price curves for investment valuation, M&A, and business planning.
6. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Participate in management discussions and present at the Board level.
8. Enhance internal processes and operational excellence.
