About the Role

Our most successful multi-national customers are using FPGA prototyping solutions to verify some of the world's most advanced System on Chip (SoC) designs. FPGA prototyping solutions are expanding to a wider audience of smaller companies benefiting from early software development and ultra-fast hardware verification through hosted services.

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Prototyping Consultant in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in FPGA prototyping systems, combined with excellent business development, project management, and customer interfacing skills. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative companies in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver technical services, including platform enablement and methodology assistance.
2. Engage directly with customers or collaborate within a technical team.
3. Work remotely, in-office, and onsite as needed.
4. Identify opportunities, drive new business, develop offerings, and grow the consulting practice.

Technical Competencies

• Understanding of Primo/proFPGA hardware anatomy and system configurations.
• Experience with VPS software for compilation and runtime.
• Practical knowledge of FPGA prototyping system applications.
• Design and testbench mapping, transactor development.
• Hardware/software debugging related to FPGA prototyping.
• Knowledge of TBX, ICE, co-model solutions.
• Proficiency in HDLs (Verilog/SV) and HVLs (SV/UVM).
• Background in Functional Verification, RTL synthesis, and PnR flows.
• Understanding of SoC design and architecture concepts.

Desirable Competencies

• Familiarity with Data Centre hosting and Cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of interface protocols like PCIe, AMBA, USB, DDR, DisplayPort.
• Awareness of EDA industry solutions.
• Skills in Linux, Tcl/Python/Shell, C/C++, DPI, SystemC, UVM frameworks.
• Experience with Questa Sim and Visualizer.
• Background in consulting or customer service roles.
