Job Opportunity: Area Manager

CCI France Italie - Camera di Commercio, based in Biella, Italy, is an international company that designs, produces, and distributes innovative and sustainable elastomer-based products for the agricultural sector and animal welfare. We are seeking an Area Manager primarily for Italy and Albania, as well as Bosnia, Cyprus, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovakia.

Mission

The Area Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the company's commercial and marketing strategies to achieve profitable growth, increase margins, and expand market share in assigned countries. This role involves initiatives to enhance product visibility across all customer segments, including distributors, farmers, government agencies, research institutes, and influencers. The Area Manager will coordinate market development plans with the Export Area Manager, ensuring alignment with group strategies and local realities.

Main Activities
  • Propose and activate sales development strategies, manage existing distributors, and seek new ones.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all clients in the territory.
  • Train and support the distributor network technically and commercially.
  • Organize training sessions for end customers (farmers) as needed.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, participate in trade fairs, promotional activities, and events.
  • Launch new products and ensure market and customer needs are communicated to headquarters.
  • Promote company innovations through government agencies, research institutes, universities, and local channels.
  • Provide monthly activity reports and monitor relevant regulations.
Functional Relationships

The Area Manager will report directly to the Export Area Manager and collaborate closely with General Management, Sales Administration, Technical Services, and Communications.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling agricultural materials/products.
  • Proven field sales experience with active prospecting and client/distributor visits.
  • Dynamism and proactive attitude.
  • Good relational skills and pedagogical ability for network training and motivation.
  • Strong organization and precision in reporting.
  • Bilingual in English; knowledge of French is a plus.
Conditions
  • Permanent contract.
  • Salary based on experience (fixed + 1% variable on turnover).
  • Company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone.
  • Home Office work (main area: Northern Italy) with regular travel within Italy and abroad.
  • 2-3 weeks of training on products and commercial organization (ERP/CRM) at the headquarters in France.
