What you will do:
The Regional Procurement Team Lead for Southern Europe will lead our procurement operations across Spain, Italy, and France. This role is critical in developing and executing procurement strategies that drive cost savings, ensure supply chain efficiency, and manage supplier relationships across these countries. The successful candidate will oversee a team of country procurement professionals, ensuring alignment with global procurement goals while addressing local market dynamics and regional needs.
Your key responsibilities:
In a dynamic and diverse business environment, you will be proactive in seizing opportunities to innovate and meet your responsibilities, which include:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement procurement strategies for Spain, Italy, and France that align with overall business goals and regional needs.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Sourcing and Negotiation: Manage and execute sourcing projects for local and regional categories, including strategy development, market testing, negotiation, and contract awards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a business partner to key stakeholders within the regional and local categories, facilitating the Source-to-Contract (S2C) process and providing advisory support for procurement activities.
- Supplier Management: Proactively manage supplier relationships in accordance with the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supplier Performance Management (SPM) policies, conducting quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with top suppliers.
- Contract Management: Prepare bid tenders and negotiate contracts for goods and services, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with category management and business units to maintain and enhance supplier relationships through performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Analyze spend data and business trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization, working closely with performance analysts and global category teams.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations, mitigating risks associated with supply chain disruptions.
- Cost Savings: Meet and exceed savings targets, driving initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
You will have the following experience:
- Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, market dynamics, and legal/regulatory requirements in Spain, Italy, and France preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, financial acumen, and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Good understanding of spend and compliance data analysis, and the ability to leverage procurement levers to drive greater value and cost reduction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in procurement tools, systems, and software.

- Proficiency in English and at least one local language (Spanish, Italian, or French).
