Job Opportunity: Junior Data Center Technician

We are seeking a Junior Data Center Technician for an ICT sector client involved in Telecomunications contracts. The ideal candidate may have minimal experience in electrical fields (cabling, panels, etc.) and will be trained in ICT monitoring activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in routine and extraordinary maintenance of the Data Center.
2. Coordinate with suppliers for fault resolution and management.
3. Monitor server alarms at the infrastructure level.
4. Handle equipment movement and inventory management within the Data Center.
5. Support external technicians and clients during their activities at the Data Center.
6. Assist the Network and Infrastructure team with cable laying and related tasks.

Essential Knowledge:

• Electrical systems: power requirements, sizing, redundancy, distribution, UPS, and emergency systems.
• Cooling and air conditioning systems: technologies, distribution, and compartmentalization.
• Fire detection and suppression systems.

Technical ICT Knowledge (training provided if not already possessed):

• Basic Networking (LAN architecture, TCP/IP protocols, HTTP, DNS)
• Server hardware and peripherals

Offer Details:

• Temporary employment contract until August 31, 2025.
• Level C3 CCNL metalmeccanico industria and installation systems.
• Base RAL of €27,697.28 plus a fixed bonus of €636.
• Location: Genoa
