A PR & Marketing Executive plays a vital role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The team contributes to unifying all functional areas to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing daily administrative duties.

What will I be doing?

As a PR & Marketing Executive, you will be accountable for the outcomes of marketing activities aimed at increasing brand awareness, communicating promotions, and addressing hotel business needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and assisting in delivering marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting as directed by the Line Manager.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, and maintaining the media library.
  • Promoting hotel marketing activities to media outlets covering various hotel services.
  • Supporting internal communications, including press releases, newsletters, speeches, and management interviews.
  • Supporting marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, exhibitions, and property inspections.
  • Managing media relations, social media tracking, press kit updates, and archiving news coverage.
  • Organizing media familiarization trips and supporting onsite photoshoots and filming.
  • Monitoring social media activities and ensuring brand standards across all collateral.
  • Assisting in growing loyalty marketing activities and executing content management across channels.
  • Developing reports on marketing activities, maintaining databases, and analyzing competitor activities.
  • Ensuring marketing and PR archives are up-to-date and supporting crisis communication efforts.

Developing Talent

  • The focus is on self-development rather than team development.

Building Relationships

  • Establishing effective communication with hotel departments, regional teams, media, community organizations, government officials, and suppliers.
  • Working collaboratively within the team and supporting all hotel departments with marketing and PR initiatives.

What are we looking for?

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in marketing and/or press relations within a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and possibly in other languages depending on the location.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • College-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of marketing and PR strategies, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and project management skills.
  • Commercial awareness, creativity, and the ability to influence and work diplomatically with various stakeholders.
  • A professional appearance, positive attitude, honesty, integrity, and a passion for hospitality marketing and PR.

Advantageous additional capabilities include experience in hospitality marketing, multilingual skills, relevant qualifications, and agency collaboration experience.
