A leading organization in surgical ophthalmology is seeking a Patient Journey Manager in Torino. The role involves enhancing patient care through training, collaboration with medical teams, and overseeing the patient journey from selection to rehabilitation. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Orthoptics and relevant experience in ophthalmology and low vision rehabilitation.

Competenze

  • 3-5 years’ experience in medical devices/pharmaceuticals, preferably in ophthalmology.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in low vision rehabilitation.
  • Fluent in the local language and proficient in English.

Mansioni

  • Build relationships with implanting centers and rehab teams.

Patient Journey Manager - Ophthalmology, Torino

Established Search is excited to be exclusively partnered with an innovative organization in the surgical ophthalmology space, dedicated to improving vision and quality of life for those with untreatable retinal disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with implanting centers and rehabilitation teams.
  • Provide hands-on training to clinical personnel, including visual rehab and low vision professionals.
  • Support and oversee the complete patient journey, from selection through surgery and long-term rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with commercial and medical teams to activate new treatment centers.
  • Engage with patient groups, doctors, and referral networks to raise awareness and increase access to care.
  • Ensure effective communication between surgical and rehab teams for continuity of care.
  • Identify and coordinate patient testimonials for awareness campaigns.
  • Serve as a key contact for patient support challenges and incident reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or qualification in Orthoptics, Optics, or a related low vision field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals, preferably in ophthalmology.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in low vision rehabilitation.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a patient- and customer-centric approach.
  • Effective project management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to work under pressure.

  • Proficient with MS Office; a tech-savvy mindset is a plus.
