The role involves testing distributed systems and microservices, managing QA workflows, and requires proficiency in Java and Python. eNetworks is seeking a QA Automation Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Test distributed systems and microservices in complex environments
2. Analyze logs, perform automated and manual tests
3. Manage QA workflows in Agile/Sprint contexts
4. Maintain and develop scripts for integration and regression testing (Python and Java)
5. Collaborate daily with development teams using collaboration tools

Required Skills:

1. Experience with Java for automated regression testing
2. Experience with Python for automated integration testing (BDD with Behave / Cucumber)
3. Writing feature files and steps in Python
4. Basic knowledge of Kafka (manual testing via CLI)
5. Experience with GitLab for version control, merge requests, and CI/CD
6. Experience in Agile environments, actively participating in Sprint meetings
7. Use of Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Confluence
8. Manual testing and end-to-end flow tracking
9. API testing with Postman and Swagger

Nice to Have:

1. Log analysis with Datadog
2. IDE PyCharm
3. Managing Python environments with Conda
4. Basic knowledge of Docker, MongoDB, AWS S3
5. Using StrongDM for access management
6. Experience with performance testing tools (Java / Python / Kafka)
7. Ability to read and modify JSON files
8. Using Lucidchart for creating functional diagrams
