Job Summary

The Sales Representative Healthcare IT Solutions serves as the commercial reference for managing new opportunities and clients in the IT sector. The role involves establishing consulting relationships and mutual collaboration with clients. The candidate should possess specific expertise in the BU HITS products and identify how these can be integrated into the workflows of Clinical Pathology Laboratories and Healthcare Information Systems. The role includes leading or facilitating the identification of prospects by the sales team for diagnostic products, executing commercial actions related to high-complexity technological and project solutions. An understanding of the market, competitors, and product positioning within BU HITS is essential. Collaboration with the BU HITS Marketing team for promotion activities, and supporting the Operations team in managing sold solutions, are also key responsibilities.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Manage commercial activities to achieve BU HITS budget objectives.
  2. Identify potential commercial strategies to meet market needs.
  3. Research new opportunities and identify strategic clients for business development and brand enhancement.
  4. Assess revenue growth potential based on installed base, proposing new functionalities, products, and services.
  5. Support the BU HITS Marketing team in preparing responses to tenders, including technical and economic proposals.
  6. Define offers for new opportunities, product extensions, and maintenance contracts related to sold systems.
  7. Ensure profitability of commercial operations through direct involvement in the ZGP process.
  8. Maintain contact with Key Opinion Leaders and partners to foster relationships.
  9. Gather prospect data from the diagnostic product sales force to support business expansion.
  10. Catalog competitive intelligence to inform CRM entries.
  11. Maintain relationships with partner companies for complementary supplies.
Networking / Key Relationships

Internal: BU HITS Marketing and Operations Teams, Sales, Services, Tender Office, Finance, Control, Quality Assurance, Human Resources.

External: Clients, Suppliers, Key Opinion Leaders, Sales and Service Agencies.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience
  • Degree in a scientific field
