IWG Credit Controller - Home-Based Role

IWG currently has openings for Credit Controllers seeking a home-based position. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for collecting overdue payments and encouraging customers to enroll in automatic payment methods. This role involves working regular business hours. Key Responsibilities

1. Actively collect overdue payments via phone.
2. Answer account queries and resolve disputes by collaborating with front and back-office teams.
3. Explain due dates, late payment policies, and service terms.
4. Encourage automatic payment sign-ups (e.g., direct debit, credit card).
5. Manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.
6. Flag accounts needing legal collection follow-up.
7. Track progress in the designated collection system.
8. Work with regional/local management to make sound decisions based on established procedures.
9. Meet set performance targets.
10. Handle resistant customers politely, tactfully, and firmly.
11. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualities

• Strong debt collection or sales skills, including clear communication, firmness, and persuasiveness.
• Excellent written and oral skills in English and Italian.
• Basic light accounting knowledge.
