A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in supporting the Line Manager to achieve key objectives aligned with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team is integral in aligning various functions to meet commercial targets. The role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the outcomes of the marketing activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to target markets, and address hotel business needs. Your main responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and assisting with the delivery of marketing and PR strategies, monitoring campaign performance, and reporting as directed by the Line Manager.
- Supporting the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and maintaining media archives.
- Promoting hotel marketing activities to the media, including food and beverage, rooms, and events.
- Supporting internal communications, including updates, press releases, newsletters, speeches, and interview preparations.
- Supporting marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, and property inspections.
- Managing media relations, including social media tracking, press kits, news archives, media databases, and interview coordination.
- Organizing media familiarization trips and managing hotel photoshoots and filming.
- Monitoring social media activities and supporting departmental initiatives.
- Ensuring brand standards are maintained across all collateral and content.
- Supporting loyalty marketing activities and executing online content strategies.
- Responding to customer posts and managing reputation.
Managing Execution
- Supporting content management across hotel websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
- Developing reports on marketing activities and results.
- Maintaining and growing hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
- Monitoring local news and managing crisis communications.
- Assisting with marketing and PR initiatives, including content review and competitive analysis.
- Maintaining marketing archives and supporting budget-related projects.
- Supporting crisis and issues communication as needed.
- Achieving performance goals set by the Line Manager.
Developing Talent

- Establishing effective communication with hotel departments, external partners, media, community, and government officials.

- Previous experience in marketing and/or press relations in a similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

- Educational background to college level or equivalent work experience.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, budget management, and project management.
