A PR & Marketing Executive plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives in line with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives, and relevant activities. The marketing and PR team performs an integral role in bringing together all functional areas to ensure commercial targets are met. The executive role involves managing individual projects related to marketing, media relations, internal communications, and performing day-to-day administrative duties.
What will I be doing?
As PR & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the results of the marketing plan and activities used by the hotel to increase brand awareness, communicate promotions to target markets, and address hotel business needs. Specifically, your tasks will include:
- Coordinate and assist with delivering marketing and PR strategies, monitor campaign performance, and report as directed by the Line Manager.
- Support the development and implementation of promotional activities, collateral, in-house merchandising, and media library maintenance.
- Promote hotel marketing activities to the media across various departments.
- Support internal communication activities, including press releases, newsletters, speeches, and interviews.
- Support marketing and PR activities such as events, sponsorships, campaigns, exhibitions, and property inspections.
- Assist with media relations, social media tracking, press kit updates, press coverage archiving, and media visit coordination.
- Organize media familiarization trips and entertain local media.
- Assist with on-site photoshoots and hotel filming, ensuring all administrative approvals are obtained.
- Monitor and support social media activities and departmental initiatives.
- Ensure all collateral conforms to brand standards and supports loyalty marketing activities.
- Implement marketing and PR content, including translation and photography, to optimize online presence.
- Respond to customer postings and address complaints appropriately.
Managing Execution
- Support content management across all channels, including websites, OTAs, social media, and partnerships.
- Develop reports on activities, results, and next steps.
- Maintain and grow hotel databases for targeted campaigns.
- Stay informed about local news affecting hotel business and inform management accordingly.
- Assist in developing reports on marketing and PR initiatives.
- Review third-party website content for standards and accuracy.
- Conduct competitive analysis and maximize compatibility with PR efforts.
- Ensure proper archiving of media content and marketing materials.
- Support management in projects with budget considerations.
- Assist with crisis communication as directed.
- Achieve performance goals set by the Line Manager and complete assigned tasks responsibly.
Developing Talent

- Establish effective communication with all hotel disciplines.
- Develop strong relationships with Hilton personnel, media, community organizations, government officials, and suppliers.

- Experience in marketing and/or press relations in a similar environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and possibly other languages depending on the role location.
