A leading provider of tours and experiences is seeking a commercially driven operator to manage supplier relationships and optimize marketplace strategies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tourism and be skilled in data analysis and negotiation. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally and drive commercial success.

The Candidate:

We seek a commercially driven operator skilled in building relationships and closing deals. You are pragmatic, data-aware, and proactive in resolving system and partner issues, with a mindset of making solutions work.

You understand marketplace dynamics, pricing strategies, and conversion drivers. You will manage a portfolio of experiences, work cross-functionally, and resolve internal and partner system friction points effectively.

Desired Experience

  • 3+ years managing supplier relationships in tourism, hospitality, or marketplaces
  • 2+ years working with channel managers (e.g., Bokun, FareHarbor, TourCMS)
  • 3+ years negotiating commercial terms
  • 2+ years working with OTAs or e-commerce marketplaces in pricing or operations

Desired Skills/Applications

  • Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Experience with channel managers (Bokun, FareHarbor, TourCMS)
  • Google Analytics (CTR, ATC, CVR)
  • Asana
  • A/B testing tools (Google Optimize, VWO)

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Supplier Management & Commercial Strategy

  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and inventory
  • Communicate pricing strategies effectively
  • Secure exclusive or high-performing experiences based on data

Marketplace Optimization

  • Monitor KPIs to inform product strategy
  • Adjust pricing and presentation to improve conversions
  • Identify and improve or phase out underperforming SKUs
  • Benchmark against competitors on OTA platforms

Systems & Channel Manager Coordination

  • Resolve pricing mismatches and system issues
  • Lead compatibility efforts with channel managers
  • Collaborate with tech and operations teams for setup and troubleshooting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, content, and product teams for launches
  • Ensure accurate tagging, categorization, and product details
  • Report on performance and blockers in weekly meetings
  • Coordinate with Customer Experience and Guide Ops teams on capacity and priorities
