Job Description:

Exide Technologies is a leading provider of advanced energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial markets. It designs, manufactures, and markets current and next-generation battery technologies used in a wide range of applications, serving global markets with world-class battery technologies, technical expertise, and value-added services under many well-known brands.

For its Balkan countries market (specifically the SEE Region: Adria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, and Malta), Exide is looking for a Regional Sales Manager South Eastern Europe. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with key clients that generate the most income, developing sales strategies, and executing related activities to identify and secure strategic customers. The manager will leverage company resources to develop and implement strategic solutions aimed at achieving long-term client goals and attracting new clients.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure sales results in terms of revenue, profit (contribution, customer EBIT/P&L), and cash flow (DSO and overdue accounts) within the designated area.
  2. Develop profitable sales to key clients across primary, secondary brands, and private labels.
  3. Contribute to medium and long-term organizational goals by proposing changes in sales channels.
  4. Analyze market trends, distribution channels, and competitors.
  5. Contribute to pricing strategies and customer satisfaction goals within the scope of a 2-year plan, including customer marketing programs and logistics.
  6. Communicate instructions effectively to sales teams, customer service, and management, and report regularly on account performance.
Requirements:
  • Academic degree in Electrical, Electronic, Energetic Engineering, or Economics. Alternative educational backgrounds will be considered if coupled with relevant experience.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in a Tier-1 automotive aftermarket company, with a good understanding of the markets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Additional regional languages are a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation skills, customer orientation, result-driven attitude, accountability, self-organization, and business acumen.
