  • Reports to: Chief Risk Officer (CRO)

The Role

Support CRO in Risk Management System Design & Implementation

  • Support CRO in designing, maintaining, improving and implementing the Company’s Risk Management System tailoring it for PE greenfield energy infrastructure;
  • performing stress testing at project, portfolio and risk factor level; risk reporting, optimizing processes and improving reporting capabilities;
  • ensuring that the risk management policies and processes are adequate and regularly reviewed;
  • maintaining current and creating/implementing new risk management tools & systems for effective risk assessment, monitoring and reporting.

Support CRO in Risk Management Oversight

  • Support CRO in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • performing Ex-ante and ex-post second level risk controls across full perimeter of activities (Fiduciary & Proprietary), especially assessing greenfield project risks, their financial models, DD reports, Investment proposals, project performance, energy and financial market developments, technology specific characteristics (BESS; PV, Wind, Hydrogen, etc.) etc.;
  • measuring, monitoring Company’s and Investments related risks (AIF Risk Profiles), adherence to the limits in line with risk related policies, guidelines and operating procedures and risk strategy;
  • maintaining comprehensive risk register (in CGR Foundation platform asset, fund and Enterprise level).
  • collecting and assessing risk related data and insights.
  • developing and running risk assessment methodologies, tools and Stress Test models for greenfield infrastructure private assets;
  • preparing regular and ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders on timely basis and ensuring accuracy and clarity;
  • coordinating the dialogue with Risk Owners to ensure risks are appropriately monitored, mitigated and regularly reviewed;
  • document controls and activities performed, automate and streamline processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of greenfield infrastructure, project finance and renewables sector (PV, BESS, Wind and other) - Mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools- Mandatory
  • Desired proficiency in MS Office (including power BI), Python and AI tools - Preferred
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and assess quantitative and qualitative risks effectively. Self-starter, curious, and adaptable with strong attention to detail and willingness to take on extended responsibilities - Mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective relationships with business units and external groups - Mandatory
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to produce concise and effective presentations - Mandatory
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in relevant roles (Risk management, Investment management, Asset Management) and industries (Asset Management or AIFM, Renewables, Greenfield/Brownfield energy transition, Consultancy, Energy) - Mandatory
