Job Description:

Objectives:

  • Negotiate with existing customers and prospect new clients in Italy, collaborating closely with management.
  • Act as a Key Account Manager for assigned international clients.
  • Provide offers and quotes to current and potential customers.
  • Report to the Sales Director Europe.

Main Activities:

  • Develop sales strategies for the company's products.
  • Gather information for preparing sale contracts.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable solutions.
  • Seek new business opportunities, especially related to replacing Polyamide compounds.
  • Negotiate sales terms with management's approval.
  • Manage customer rates and records.
  • Issue material samples and test requests for the laboratory.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Ensure contracts and sales volumes are properly managed.
  • Identify and manage customer and financial risks, delivery issues, and structural changes.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments.
  • Support technical and sales teams with tests, complaints, or disputes.
  • Report on sales activities, customer status, and sample progress during management meetings.

  • Proficient in sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Deep understanding of company's technical capabilities and product advantages.
  • Knowledge of the plastics industry and processing, especially injection moulding, with proven account management success.
  • Analytical mindset adaptable to market changes.
  • Strong decision-making skills to identify and resolve customer issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments.
  • Good time management and prioritization skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
