Supervisor (Capo Reparto) - Milano New Opening "Stazione Centrale", Milan

Location: Milan, Italy

JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981 with a single store in northwest England, is now one of the leading Multi-Channel retailers of sports fashion and outdoor apparel in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores, caters to various retail segments, and prides itself on offering customers the latest products from top brands.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Supervisor, as an experienced sales associate, supports the management team in improving customer service levels and maintaining company standards.

Sales/Commercial Skills:

• Handles store opening and closing activities: merchandise arrangement, team briefing, displaying new items on the sales wall, etc.
• Periodically monitors profitability through KPI tracking.
• Participates in sales activities and ensures an exemplary level of customer service.
• Handles customer complaints efficiently and courteously.

Ensures the overall presentation of the store in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising team, adhering to company standards, stock rotation, product density, highlighting new products, and price variations.

Logistics/Loss Prevention/Cash Handling/Health & Safety:

• Holds the store keys and is fully responsible for managing merchandise and personnel entry and exit.
• Actively participates in loss prevention and control, collaborating with the profit protection manager through zoning, delivery checks, regular and extraordinary audits/inventories.
• Handles cash register opening/closing, manages daily cash operations, and prepares for monthly store financial closing.
• Supervises cash collections, manages returns and refunds.
• Contributes to maintaining a healthy and clean environment, including cleaning common areas and sales/storage areas to ensure safety and hygiene.

Qualifications include prior experience in structured retail environments, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts; good command of English; leadership and strong interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); career progression; experience in a young, dynamic, and expanding international environment; employee assistance programs; access to corporate benefits portal; and product discounts.
